Oxford House has been a language school since 1998 and has taught Spanish since 2008. It is in the Eixample district at Carrer Diputació 279, one minute from Passeig de Gràcia, so cafés, shops and many of Barcelona’s best-known sights are right on your doorstep. For the Bildungsurlaub courses, the course details show the federal states in which they are recognised.
The centre covers 1,000 m² with 23 classrooms equipped with computers, projectors or smart TVs, air conditioning and heating. There is also a two-level garden with palm trees, a library of Spanish books, study spaces and free Wi-Fi. Every class has its own Microsoft Teams space with summaries and materials, and an online level test places you in the right group, from A1 to C1. Students come from more than 50 countries.
Why learn Spanish in Barcelona?
Outside the classroom the school organises conversation groups, a language tandem, film and reading clubs, a Spanish-language escape room and guided walks in Spanish through the Gothic Quarter, El Born or along the Modernist route. Rooms in shared apartments are arranged directly with the school’s partner Barna Students Place.

Eight hours of Spanish a week, Monday to Thursday, either from 11:30 to 13:30 or from 19:00 to 21:00, in groups of 4 to 12 students. The course lasts four weeks (32 hours) and is paid as a single amount with no enrolment fee. New groups start about once a month.
